Embroidery Digitizing file format

The most common file formats used in embroidery digitizing are:

1. DST: This is the most widely used file format in commercial embroidery machines. It contains the instructions for the embroidery machine to stitch out the design.

2. EXP: Another common format used in commercial embroidery machines, particularly those manufactured by Melco.

3. PES: This format is primarily used with Brother embroidery machines. It contains the stitching information for the design.

4. JEF: Janome embroidery machines primarily use this format. It contains the stitch data for the design.
